We will greet you and will show you your cottage and new home for the week. You will be given a welcome pack including a map of the site and a full programme. You will have the full day to settle in and familarise yourself with the site - registration is from 2pm on the Monday. People will be arriving on site throughout the day – take time to stop and say hello.

Days 2, 3 and 4

The conference will open from 8am on days 2, 3 and 4 with a morning activity and the chance to share some light food and big conversations in the Woodlands Suite at the heart of the community. This will be the chance to hear from the ambassadors of asset based community development – the passion behind the movement, the stories of change and the hopes for the future. There will be free time throughout the day to use the facilities, you will experience your first Come Dine with Us and the evening back in the Woodlands suite we will bring you a vast array of amazing entertainment from around the world.

Topic Tents

During the conference we will have the opportunity to share and learn with each other in smaller groups, which will lend themselves to positive and productive conversations, these will be known as TOPIC TENTS. We invite all delegates to contribute and be curious to learn from each other. There will be a diverse range of topics, which will be hosted by practitioners and community members so if you have something to share, email info@my-life.org.uk with your contribution.
